Marc Albano, DDS

Dr. Marc Albano has been named one of Philadelphia magazine’s Top DentistsTM 2019 through 2025 in Pediatric Dentistry. He has also been honored by Main Line Today Magazine as one of the Top Pediatric Dentists in the Main Line area for 7 years in a row, as well as, by South Jersey Magazine the past 9 years and by New Jersey Monthly in 2018 through 2025. He received his Bachelor of Science degree from Rutgers University, New Brunswick NJ in 2001. Dr. Marc attended dental school at the University of Maryland, Baltimore College of Dental Surgery in Baltimore, Maryland. He graduated with honors in 2005 as a member of the Gorgas Odontological Honor Society. He completed an additional two years of specialty training beyond dental school, receiving his certificate in Pediatric Dentistry at Temple University Hospital – Episcopal Division in 2007.
Dr. Albano is a member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, American Dental Association, New Jersey Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, New Jersey Dental Association, American Academy of Facial Esthetics, Southern Dental Society of New Jersey and Northeastern Society of Pediatric Dentistry. Dr. Marc is also on staff at Inspira Medical Center in Mullica Hill and Salem Ambulatory Surgery Center. He and his wife, Angela, reside in Gloucester County and love spending time with their three children Gianna, Talia and Luca. He enjoys traveling, golfing whenever possible and is an avid Philly sports fan. Go Birds!
joni cheung, dds
Dr. Joni Cheung is excited to be helping children build their confidence and their smiles as part of the Mullica Hill Pediatric Dental team! Her favorite part of pediatric dentistry is making connections with her patients.
Dr. Joni grew up in New York, completed her undergraduate studies at Boston College, did several years of research related to Parkinson’s Disease, and from there, received her Doctor of Dental Surgery at the University of Michigan School of Dentistry. She then completed her pediatric residency at the University of Pennsylvania/ Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. She is a proud member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry and the American Dental Association.
Outside of the office, Dr. Joni loves exploring new restaurants, traveling, and Latin dancing. She resides in Philadelphia, PA with her partner Matthew, and their dog Pepper.
SHALINI PATEL, DMD
Dr. Shalini Patel is a board-certified diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry whose favorite part of her job is being the foundation of her patient’s dental experience and teaching healthy habits early on.
Dr. Patel was born and raised on Long Island, NY. She attended the University of Maryland for her undergraduate studies and then went on to receive her Doctorate in Dental Medicine from the University of Pennsylvania. From there, she completed one year in a general practice residency at Brookdale Hospital (where she met her husband) followed by two years in a pediatric dental residency at BronxCare Health System, serving as chief resident. Her training has provided her with experiences in all scopes of pediatric dentistry including behavior management, treatment under nitrous oxide and sedation, dental trauma, as well as comprehensive treatment of special needs patients.
When not in the office, Dr. Patel enjoys spending time with family and friends, trying new restaurants, traveling, and watching reality tv. She resides in Philadelphia, PA with her husband, Tushar, daughter, Roma, and their dog, Emmy.
