COVID-19 Updates
Dear Friends,
We are back and officially reopened!!! We hope you have all been staying safe and healthy throughout these challenging times. We have implemented new additional protocols and scheduling adjustments to continue to provide safely to our patients exceeding OSHA and CDC guidelines. With those that we need to reschedule, we are attempting to keep everyone as close to their original recall dates and appointments as possible. We are now open on Thursdays and maintaining full time hours to accommodate patient appointments.
I want to share with you some changes we have implemented to our policies and procedures regarding protecting against and distancing from COVID-19. We will continue to make the health and safety of our patients and employees our main priority. We are adhering to a softer opening, limiting staff and patients in the office at the same times. We ask that you take precaution and reschedule if your child is having any flu-like symptoms or sickness. Appointment times are extended to allow for little to no traffic between patients and families. We ask that as you arrive for your appointment, you remain in the car and call the office to inform us of your arrival. We will then let you know when to enter the office and our staff member will greet you. At that time, we ask you to use our hand sanitizer and check in. New patients will be asked to print or scan new patient paperwork prior to the appointment if possible. Our staff will then ask any patient screening questions and use our No Touch + Forehead thermometer to take temperatures. In addition to our standard measures, we will be exercising a higher standard of infection control in our waiting area and game room, including removing all magazines, toys, books, games, and our coffee bar. We will bypass the waiting and game rooms as our staff will walk you directly to the treatment area. We ask that only one parent/guardian accompany your child to the appointment and leave siblings not scheduled home to limit exposure. We also request those patients able to be seen without parent accompaniment to do so when possible. We have always and will continue to follow the universal precautions issued by the CDC OSHA and ADA to help protect patients and our team members from the many infectious diseases that we are potentially exposed to on a daily basis. We will also use our same as well as additional PPE including N95 and KN95 masks, face shields, and gowns. After the appointment, we ask that you use our hand sanitizer again before you leave.
If you have any additional questions, please call our office at (856) 842-5400 and we will be happy to help. We are more than excited to be back and doing what we love and can’t wait to see you again soon.
Best Wishes,
Dr. Marc Albano
